Jessica earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from Indiana University South Bend in 2014 and we welcomed her at BFD just a few months later. In addition to being a licensed hygienist, she is licensed to administer local anesthetic. Jessica takes pride in providing patients with an understanding of the care they receive and equipping them with the knowledge of what it takes to achieve good oral health. She lives in Walkerton with her husband, active dog, and two adventurous cats.
Sonya graduated from Ross Medical Education Center in 2011 with a Certificate in Dental Assisting and joined our practice in 2013. She has devoted her time toward earning her certification in radiology and Cad Cam dentistry, with additional training in Cad Cam dentistry. She is a devoted member of our team, with patient care as her number one priority. She resides in Plymouth.
In 2009 Liz obtained her Certificate in Dental Assisting from Everest College and her Dental Radiography License. Shortly after, she continued her training to become an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant. She joined the BFD team in 2017, taking pride in her part to create healthy, beautiful smiles. She strives to make every patient feel cared for while at the office. Originally from Valparaiso, Liz now resides in Plymouth with her husband and three children.
Carmen graduated from Plymouth High School, earned her Associates degree from Ivy Tech, and then completed South Bend Dental Assisting School, including her Xray certification. She joined the BFD team after completing her externship with our office in Spring 2019. Carmen entered into the field of dentistry because of an interest in learning about the different aspects of dentistry and opportunity for patient interaction. Carmen, who is also bilingual, works to make patients comfortable and helps answer questions they may have when visiting our office for treatment. A resident of Plymouth, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and her rescue pup in their new home.
